Symptoms of GERD
The main symptoms are
- Persistent heartburn
- acid regurgitation
- Pain in the chest
- Hoarseness in the morning
- Trouble swallowing
Cause of GERD
The root cause of GERD is H.Pylori infection and overuse of NSAD (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Other causes are
Excess usage of caffeine, smoking and alcohol consumption can also cause GERD.
Particular types of food (for example, dairy, spicy or fried foods) and eating habits.
Low Magnesium in diet, Magnesium is needed to relax the sphincter at the bottom of your stomach that actually lets the food go down. When you don’t have enough magnesium, the food goes up.
Treatment for GERD
